AIC 3U 12G Short Storage Chassis 16x 3.5in Hot-Swap 800W Redundant
The AIC 3U 12G Short storage chassis is a serious foundation for a TrueNAS, Unraid or backup server. It packs sixteen 3.5-inch hot-swap bays into a 3U, 19-inch chassis, plus two 2.5-inch hot-swap bays at the rear that are ideal for boot or cache SSDs.
A 12G expander is built onto the backplane, which simplifies cabling to your HBA or RAID controller. Power comes from an 800W 1+1 redundant power supply, so a single PSU failure will not take the server down, and rails are included for mounting in a 4-post rack.
At about 550mm deep it is shorter than many storage chassis, but it still needs a 4-post rack or deep cabinet. Allow at least 625mm of usable depth including cables. It mounts in standard 19-inch racks with M6 fixings. It ships by insured courier from our UK partner, typically within 2-5 working days. Motherboard, CPU, memory, HBA and drives are not included.
